Hi! I'm Darrell. Thanks for stopping in.

My photography passions are that of landscape, travel, history, sports or a combination of any of those components. I love to travel, anywhere at any time and love to shoot to document those trips.

I do not consider myself a photographer who creates art, but rather a person who captures a vision.  A great subject with poor light will make a poor photograph; an ordinary subject with great light can make a great photograph.

At best, I'm considered an advanced enthusiast but none the less, if I love it, I pour my heart and soul into it.

I've been lucky enough to travel the world and my work is a reflection of my passions and is layered with landscapes, lifestyle, adventure, sports and the personalities that find the meaning from the same sources.

Fun fact:  I'm colorblind. How many other photographers do you know that are colorblind? I see the same number of colors you see only I see them in a different hue. For this I have to trust the camera and post processing. Oh, and the eye of my wife if need be.  Thanks to her for her enduring efforts and support.

The photographer is like the cod, which produces a million eggs in order that one may reach maturity.
